Applications for Massage Establishment Permits and renewals should be submitted to the Development Services Department. The applications and checklists for new and renewal Permits are listed below. Applications should be submitted 60 days prior to license expiration.
A fee of $362.00 is required for Police Services review for new applications and $218.00 for renewals. An additional fee of $860.90 for new applications and $602.85 for renewals will be charged for Development Services review.
The City of Rancho Santa Margarita’s regulations for massage establishments are in accordance with SB1147, the California Massage Therapy Act.
The revised Massage Ordinance, Chapter 4.02 - Regulation of Massage Establishments, of the Rancho Santa Margarita Municipal Code was approved by the City Council on March 8, 2017.
