The City’s signature “Celebrating Family and Friends” New Year’s Eve event is an evening for families and friends to celebrate the last night of the year. A City tradition, this year's event marks our 18th year of incorporation. Join us on Sunday, December 31st from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Civic Plaza/Central Park. There will be a variety of food, games, crafts, and entertainment including the feature show by Juggler Jeffrey Daymont. Enjoy Inflatable rides, a photo booth, an air guitar contest and more! “Team Soil” is returning with their amazing BMX bike show, and local classic rock band The 5150’s will provide music throughout the evening. The Children’s Art Contest will be showcased in the halls of the Community Center. Each year students in Kindergarten through 12th grade share their artistic talents, and the “55 & Better” art exhibit will be featured again this year in the fireplace room. The Community Services Department is currently accepting artwork for both exhibits.
