The Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District (OCMVCD) will conduct an Ultra-Low-Volume (ULV) adulticide treatment in the City of Rancho Santa Margarita to address the increase in mosquito abundance and risk of mosquito-borne disease.
The Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District (OCMVCD) will conduct an Ultra-Low-Volume (ULV) adulticide treatment to address the increase in mosquito abundance and risk of mosquito-borne disease in the City of Rancho Santa Margarita. The applications will occur in an area bordered by Avenida de las Flores, Buena Suerte St., Alumbre St., Eneldo St., and Salvia St. If numbers persist or disease is present, treatments will continue throughout the biting season.

When: Thursday – Saturday | August 15th, 16th and 17th
Time: 3:00 to 5:00 am
Treatment: Truck applications with DeltaGard
At the application rate, this product will not harm:
• People or pets, even if present during the application
• Fruit trees, vegetable gardens, or fishponds
• There is no need to turn off air conditioning systems during the application
• Bees, as the product is applied at a time when bees are not active
