Construction activity continues on schedule. The speed limit is 45 mph at all times in the construction zone.
The bridge project is anticipated to reach a major milestone next week with the pouring of concrete expected to take place on Monday. The Contractor has installed all remaining reinforcing steel and has begun forming both the bridge hinge and abutments. It will be approximately two weeks before Stage 2 can start in order to accommodate other minor bridge maintenance work and also to allow time for the concrete to reach a minimum allowable strength before traffic can begin driving on it.
Please remember, the speed limit in the construction zone is 45 mph.
