Due to wet conditions, Santiago Canyon Road improvements, lane closures, and traffic will begin Tuesday, May 29.
Commuters traveling Santiago Canyon Road will encounter construction, lane closures, and traffic stops starting Tuesday, May 29, as part of the Santiago Canyon Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
Crews will be repairing the pavement on sections of Santiago Canyon Road requiring lane closures and traffic stops. OC Public Works limited the work hours to 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to minimize impacts during peak traffic hours.

Santiago Canyon Road is heavily used by both local residents and regional commuters. Construction and related traffic delays can be frustrating – OC Public Works appreciates your patience as they complete repairs to extend the life of the roadway. Residents may choose to use alternate routes during the project duration.
