'Ride for Rwanda' will take place Saturday, April 28th. Motorists may experience brief delays.
Ride for Rwanda is this Saturday, April 28th, which features three different mountain bike rides with starting times of 7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 9:15 a.m. At the start of each bike ride, OCSD will provide a motorized escort from the starting line at Applied Medical Building R100 (located at 29977 Avenida De Las Banderas) to the trailhead located adjacent to the Mission Hills Christian School. As a result of the police escorts, temporary street closures will occur on Avenida Empresa and Aventura. Motorists should anticipate brief traffic delays in this area. The last police escort will end at approximately 9:30 a.m. and, at which time, the impacted streets will return to normal operations.
