Update regarding stabbing incident on Monday, August 7th.
There have been two arrests made in connection with the stabbing on Monday, August 7, 2017, in Rancho Santa Margarita. Based on the evidence we have, there are no other suspects involved or outstanding. The public was never in danger, as all parties involved were known to each other. Charges have been filed with the District Attorney’s office for attempted murder against one of the suspects. The investigation is still ongoing.
