The Rancho Santa Margarita City Council has selected Council Member Anne Figueroa to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore for 2026.
At their regular meeting on December 10, 2025, the City Council reorganized, unanimously selecting Anne Figureroa to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore. Anne was elected to the Rancho Santa Margarita City Council in November 2018. She served as Mayor Pro Tempore in 2021 and as Mayor in 2022.
