[ARCHIVED] Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Underway

Public input is vital as the City updates the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. A brief survey allows residents to share their opinions and participate in the process.

The City of Rancho Santa Margarita is updating its current Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP), which is required to be updated every five years or by December 2024. More information about the current LHMP and the process to update it can be found on the City’s website.

Public input is vital to the mitigation planning process. A brief survey allows residents to share their opinions and participate. The survey can be accessed here.
