City Manager's Message

Fall is in full swing in the City of Rancho Santa Margarita. Our classes and activities are filling up quickly at the Bell Tower Community Center – there’s something for all ages and stages.

We recently received word that our friends at HEART will be providing their low-cost pet care clinic on the first Monday in October at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center. We’re so appreciative of the excellent service they provide and hope you’ll bring your furry family members to the monthly clinics for vaccinations and other services.

Finally, I hope you’ll join us at the 3rd annual Halloween Family Festival on October 31st in Central Park for an afternoon filled with treats, games, a costume contest, and family-friendly Halloween fun.

Zero Trash RSM

Saturday, October 5th

ZeroTrash Rancho Santa Margarita is a volunteer group that meets on the "Zero T First Saturday" of each month to rally together to rid the community of litter. All are welcome; parents, children, students, friends, neighbors  – anyone interested in keeping RSM clean!*

Volunteers meet in front of Cinepolis/Panera at 10:00 a.m. and fan out from there. ZeroTrash provides the pickers and bags; volunteers are asked to closely supervise young children at all times, stay on trails and to keep a look out for snakes!  Return pickers and trash at noon behind the Bell Tower Community Center and obtain sign-offs for certification of community service hours or badge requirements.

Follow ZeroTrash RSM on Facebook for more information.

*ZeroTrash will cancel in the event of rain.
