City Manager's MessageThe City of Rancho Santa Margarita uses a variety of channels to provide information and news to our residents. August’s Holy Fire certainly appeared ominous and threatening for several days as viewed from many locations throughout the City. We are grateful to the first responders for their dedication and skilled response. As a reminder, the City uses the AlertOC mass notification system designed to keep Orange County residents and businesses informed of important information during emergency events. Examples of use would include disaster notifications, evacuation notices, public health or safety emergencies, and/or any emergency information as defined by the City. I hope you’ll take a moment to register you and your loved ones for this essential public safety service.
Sincerely, Jennifer Cervantez
