The Orange County Sheriff's Department invites Rancho Santa Margarita business owners to join in on the department's next Business Watch meeting on Friday, March 24.

The next Business Watch meeting, hosted by OCSD Rancho Santa Margarita Police Services, occurs at 8:30 a.m. at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center, 22232 El Paseo.

The Sheriff's Department will discuss recent events and trends in the RSM community.

RSM secures top spot in Safest City ranking!

According to a recent study published by Moving Waldo, Rancho Santa Margarita took the number one spot as the safest city in California.

Complimentary Kitchen Bins Available for RSM Residents

The City has a limited number of complementary small kitchen bins available for pickup at City Hall during regular business hours. The pails are designed to assist residents to minimize landfill waste and are funded by a grant from CalRecycle.

Those with a household income less than $60,000 in 2022 may be eligible to file tax returns for free. Assistance is available by appointment in Rancho Santa Margarita.

Jerry Holloway will serve as Mayor, and Carol Gamble as Mayor Pro Tempore for the 2023 term. City Council members made the 1-year appointments during their annual reorganization on Wednesday.

Each December, the council selects a new mayor and mayor pro tem from among its five members.
