The Pet Adoption Center of Orange County relies on the generosity of animal lovers to provide for the adoptable pets in their care. The contemporary, home-like facility in neighboring Lake Forest, California, houses small dogs weighing approximately 30 pounds and under from local animal control agencies, animal welfare organizations, and certain owner surrenders, reducing shelter operational stress and overcrowding.
Dogs in the care of PAC-OC receive food, water, shelter, medical attention, and socialization from staff and volunteers in an open, stress-free environment that keeps them happy, healthy, and adoptable. Matching dogs with highly compatible people and families achieve successful adoption placements and reduced returns. In addition, all dogs receive mandatory sterilization, up-to-date vaccinations, and an identification microchip.
