Addressing the Opioid Crisis in Orange County is a forum to raise awareness of the increase in opioid misuse and the rise of fentanyl overdose deaths.
Hosted by Donald P. Wagner, Chairman OC Board of Supervisors, 3rd District, Kate Sanchez, 71st Assembly District, the City of Rancho Santa Margarita, and the OC Health Care Agency, this community forum will take place on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center.
Information about how surging fentanyl deaths are preventable and how to access available resources will be shared. In addition, an expert panel will answer questions, and brief training on administering Naloxone, a life-saving opioid overdose reversal drug, will be provided. Forum participants will receive a free box of Naloxone at the end of the presentation.
