[ARCHIVED] Income Tax Preparation Assistance

OCFTP Locations Flyer 2022_English_Page_1

If your household income was less than $60,000 in 2021, you may be eligible to file your taxes for free. Assistance is available by appointment in Rancho Santa Margarita.

The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) is back this year at locations throughout Orange County, including San Francisco Solano Church in Rancho Santa Margarita. Tax preparation is done for lower-income individuals (threshold $60,000) under the auspices of the United Way of Orange County and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). While the primary sponsor is San Francisco Solano Catholic Church and the majority of trained volunteer tax preparers are members of the parish, the services being provided serve all members of the community, regardless of religious affiliation, at no cost to the individuals. In addition, the program is periodically audited by the IRS and the United Way.

Please call (949) 546-8127 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
