Removal of traffic control and lane re-striping will occur overnight from Tuesday, February 2nd to Wednesday, February 3rd.
Originally scheduled to occur on Thursday and Friday (1/28 & 1/29) of this week, the contractor is now scheduled to remove long-term traffic controls and perform lane re-striping overnight from Tuesday, February 2nd to Wednesday, February 3rd. This work will enable the return of traffic flow to its usual, pre-construction status. While restoration work will take place during night hours to lessen the impact on commuters, traffic delays may occur.
Median reconstruction, including replacement of trees and landscaping, will then begin. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of February 2021.
Please remember, the speed limit in the construction zone is 45 mph.
