[ARCHIVED] City offers Small- and Micro-Business Assistance Grant Program

A limited number of grants are available to assist small business owners in Rancho Santa Margarita to create or retain jobs held by low- and moderate-income employees in response to the adverse impacts of COVID-19.

The City of Rancho Santa Margarita has received an additional allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). The City Council has allocated approximately $82,500 of these funds to a Small and Micro-Business Assistance Grant Program.

Grants with a maximum amount of $7,500 each will be awarded to eligible businesses that were adversely impacted by COVID-19. Funds must be used to prevent, prepare for, or respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic and must assist in creating or retaining jobs held by low- or moderate-income workers.
