Santa Margarita Parkway bridge hinge reconstruction will be completed in two phases. The first traffic shift for phase one is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, overnight.
Lane closures will occur that night while crews implement the traffic shift. By the morning of Wednesday, August 19, the new traffic pattern should be in place.
One eastbound travel lane will be used/converted to accommodate one lane of westbound traffic. Of the current three westbound lanes, two are subject to long-term closure.
Please be aware of modified traffic patterns and use caution traveling through construction zones on the bridge deck.
Please note that all landscaping, including replacement of Magnolia trees, will occur upon completion of the bridge maintenance project.
Thank you for your patience as we conduct infrastructure improvements for the community, and please drive safely.
