Be a hero to a local senior in need by funding daily, nutritious meals for pickup and delivery.
While congregate lunches at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center are suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic, meals are still being prepared and delivered to thousands of people each day in Rancho Santa Margarita and throughout South Orange County.
Age Well Senior Services (AWSS) has converted their Congregate Senior Center Lunches to a grab-and-go program amid stay at home orders. Those age 60+ can conveniently obtain meals at the senior center nearest them in an effort to ensure the health and wellbeing of the vulnerable senior community.
Since stay at home orders were issued, the Age Well Senior Services client list has grown by 13,000. Age Well is seeking donations at their grab-and-go site or online at agewellseniorservices.org to ensure that no senior in need will be turned away due to the inability to pay. Meals on Wheels participants receive daily food deliveries and welfare checks - at a safe distance – from AWSS volunteers.
Those looking for a way to assist our most vulnerable population through the COVID-19 crisis can fund senior meals for $9 a day, $45 a week, $270 a month, or $810 for three months.
