Free Electronic Waste & Document Shredding Event
Saturday, May 30, 2020

The City of Rancho Santa Margarita is offering a free electronic waste disposal service and document shredding event on Saturday, May 30, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the parking lot of City Hall.

Safely and responsibly dispose of obsolete electronic waste and prevent identity theft during this semi-annual event sponsored by the City of Rancho Santa Margarita and CR&R Environmental Services.

Take advantage of this opportunity to clean out your garage and get rid of those unneeded large items taking up valuable space! While not accepted at the e-waste event, every residential customer is entitled to [4] bulky item pick-ups free-of-charge per calendar year. Items that cannot fit in your automated carts are considered bulky items - and they must be manageable by a two-person crew. Examples of  bulky items include couches, tables, desks and dressers. A bulky item service may include a combination of large items or bags of material. Additional picks-ups may be arranged for a nominal charge. Call CR&R at (877) 728-0446 to schedule a pickup date.

For more information, call Public Works at (949) 635-1800 x6503
