[ARCHIVED] South Orange County Entrepreneurs Academy (SCORE) Announces 2020 Workshops

Orange County SCORE offers FREE business mentoring, low-cost or no-cost business training, and numerous templates and tools to help you start or grow a business.

The South OC Entrepreneurs Academy is a partnership initiated by the City of Lake Forest, California, that includes the cities of Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, and San Clemente and began in July 2018. The Academy is composed of a series of workshops organized through SCORE and designed to provide training to aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners in a free and accessible manner. SCORE is a national nonprofit that works to provide no-cost business mentoring and education through webinars, interactive courses and local workshops facilitated by industry leaders and mentors on a variety of business topics.

Events are hosted on a rotating schedule at various locations to optimize the visibility and accessibility of the programs.”, while SCORE provides high-quality content and speakers for workshop seminars. In 2019, SCORE received an Award of Merit from the American Planners Association (APA) for municipal best practices. The Academy featured 13 sessions with nearly 400 program attendees in its first year.
