Established in 1975, Age Well Senior Services, formerly South County Senior Services, is a nonprofit, public benefit 501 (C)(3) organization located in Laguna Hills, California that relies on donations to provide critical services, resources, and programs to home-bound and low-income seniors living in 21 cities located in South Orange County, including the City of Rancho Santa Margarita, at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center.
Age Well Senior Services’ Board of Directors member and veteran restaurant business executive Steven G. Moyer became acting CEO of the nonprofit organization in October of 2017 while the Board undertook a search for a new leader to replace Age Well founder and former CEO Dr. Marilyn Ditty, who now serves as Founder Emeritus.
Previously, Moyer was the president of Aloha Restaurants, Inc., a full-service restaurant company with eateries in California and Hawaii. He has served on the Age Well Board since 2006, including serving as president for three years. His other nonprofit experience includes serving on the Multiple Sclerosis Business Advisory Board and the University of California, Irvine Business Advisory Committee.
Age Well serves more than 300,000 Meals on Wheels annually, as well as providing non-emergency medical transportation services to over 3,000 seniors annually.
All are welcome to help us welcome Mr. Moyer to Rancho Santa Margarita!
