Notice of Committee Vacancy: Community Development Block Grant Public Service Grants Advisory Committee
The CDBG Public Service Grants Advisory Committee is charged with the task of providing recommendations to the City Council for social service projects that will benefit Rancho Santa Margarita's seniors, persons with disabilities, youth, and other residents in need. The City is currently seeking residents to serve on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Service Advisory Committee. Comprised of a minimum of five and a maximum of eleven (11) Rancho Santa Margarita residents, the committee also includes one representative from the Planning Commission and one representative from the City Council. The committee will meet a maximum of two times during the first quarter of the year to review grant applications from community-based social service providers and make grant funding recommendations to the City Council. At this time, up to six resident volunteer positions may be filled.
