Antonio Parkway and Santa Margarita Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation

Antonio Parkway and Santa Margarita Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation

As part of the City of Rancho Santa Margarita’s effort to proactively maintain the city streets, the City is performing pavement rehabilitation work on Antonio Parkway and Santa Margarita Parkway, as illustrated in the map link below. The scope of work for the project includes the removal and replacement of failed pavement areas, cold milling of existing pavement, and installation of a new layer of asphalt. Next, the removal and reconstruction of sidewalk, curb, and gutter will take place, followed by the replacement of traffic striping, markers, and markings, and finally, the replacement of traffic signal loops.

Construction is anticipated to take place from mid-August to late September. The contractor’s activities will be limited to the hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. Lane closures will be restricted to the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. A minimum of one through traffic travel lane and all turning lanes in each direction will be available during construction.

Your patience and cooperation in observing all traffic controls, parking restrictions and traffic control workers is sincerely appreciated and will help to expedite this project. The City and contractor will make every effort to minimize any inconveniences to motorists and pedestrians.
