Mayor Brad McGirr delivered the 2015 State of the City Address on November 13 to members of the community at Dove Canyon Golf Club. The video is available for viewing on the City's YouTube channel.

Some Highlights:

Rancho Santa Margarita has been named the safest city in California, and the 6th safest in the nation (for all cities with a population of more than 25,000, less than 50,000).

The City's budget is balanced, and total reserves, including emergency and discretionary reserves, exceed $23,000,000.

A statewide study reveals that Rancho Santa Margarita ranks #3 in job creation and is tied for #1 in the state for the lowest unemployment rate among high school graduates.

RSM has been ranked #2 among the most family friendly cities in Orange County (behind neighboring Aliso Viejo).

A multi-year city beautification program is underway as we reach the milestone 15 year anniversary of incorporation.
