The purpose of this short survey is to elicit opinions and thoughts about the 23-acre active Sports Park concept to help determine the needs of Rancho Santa Margarita residents.
The City of Rancho Santa Margarita is interested in your thoughts and opinions about a potential Sports Park at the City-owned Chiquita Ridge property located at the southern end of the City, on the east side of Antonio Parkway, just south of Canada Vista Park. To date, the City has conducted feasibility studies to determine the best use of the City-owned 92-acre site. Pursuant to a Settlement agreement with various parties including the County of Orange, if developed, 37 acres must remain open space with 55 acres to be developed. Of that 55 acres, 23 acres is required to be an active sports park, and 32 acres would be available for other development.
We would appreciate you taking this brief survey that should not take more than 10 minutes of your time. For additional information regarding the City-owned Chiquita Ridge property, please visit the City’s website at www.cityofrsm.org/540/Chiquita-Ridge. Thank you for your participation!
