[ARCHIVED] City hosting Diaper Drive for Military families

Donate to Diapers and Wipes for the Stars and Stripes through February 24th

The City of Rancho Santa Margarita is seeking donations of diapers in all sizes to help pamper the mommies-to-be of the City’s adopted 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines. There are over 1,000 military families living on base at Camp Pendleton – and we want to let them know that the many sacrifices of both the families and service members are appreciated

Diapers and baby wipes are expensive, costing up to $70 to $80 per month per baby.  On average a baby needs 6 to 10 diapers a day to stay fresh and healthy.  As a community, we would like to show our support to the new and expectant mommies and thank them for the sacrifices they make as a military spouse.

Donations may be dropped off at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center during regular business hours; Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. until Friday, February 24, 2017.

For more information, please contact Wendi Redington, Community Services Supervisor at (949) 216-9700 x 1260, wredington@cityofrsm.org.
