Adopt Joe, this unique, and relatively unknown breed of dog that you may not have heard of before.
Joe is an American Bully breed, produced in the 1980s by mixing the pit bull terrier, Staffordshire
terrier and “Olde English Bulldogge.” The resulting dog is a calmer, more
adaptable breed, often acting as a laid-back companion dog in the home while
showing a zest for life and energy while outside.
Joe is extremely typical of his breed. Although his
appearance and raspy bark can be a bit intimidating, he is a gentle and loving
dog. He loves meeting new people and shows his affection with sloppy
kisses. When happy, Joe will roll over for belly rubs. He also enjoys
walks and playing with toys. He is especially fond of tennis balls and will
play fetch with them.
His adoption fee is only $20 for an approved applicant, who
will also receive a free training package to start him out on the right
path. Meet darling Joe at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center at
28095 Hillcrest and check out his video at cmvas.org or call 949-470-3045.
