[ARCHIVED] Bright Lights, Safe City!

Report Malfunctioning or Damaged Streetlights

Streetlights provide greater visibility and safety for motorists, pedestrians and law enforcement officials and are an essential component of ensuring public safety, especially as we move in to the winter months of early sunset and limited visibility in the late afternoon and evening hours.

Southern California Edison (SCE) owns and maintains most of the street lights in Rancho Santa Margarita. Any requests for repairs and/or maintenance of street lighting (such as an outage) should be directed to SCE to expedite the repair. The link below will direct you to SCE's online request form and will also allow you to track the status of your request. You may also contact SCE directly at 800.611.1911.

Click here to submit an online SCE Street Light Outage form. For additional questions, feel free to contact the Public Works Department at 949.635.1800.
