[ARCHIVED] Gamble to serve as Mayor, Vaughn as Mayor Pro Tempore

The City Council on Wednesday, December 14 selected Carol Gamble to serve as Mayor and Michael Vaughn to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore.


This is the third mayoral term for Carol Gamble,  who was elected to serve on the inaugural City Council in 2000 and served as Mayor in 2001 and 2014. Mayor Pro Tempore  Michael Vaughn was elected to the City Council in 2014.


During Wednesday's meeting, the City also recognized outgoing Mayor and current City Council Member Tony Beall for his service to the community during this past year.

The City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. The Council‘s December 28 meeting has been canceled due to the holidays.
