Rancho Santa Margarita provides a safe, quiet suburban feel right in the middle of a large population center—over 450,000 people within a 10-mile radius of the Center of Rancho Santa Margarita. 

Education

A well-educated community with 64.6% of the population with some college/associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree or higher. There are two school districts, and five private schools within the city. Saddleback College, and Louis Mount University is only seven miles away, Irvine Valley College is within 10 miles, and University of Irvine, Santiago Canyon College, California American University is within 15 miles. In addition, the nearest four-year universities include Concordia University Irvine, Chapman University, and California State University, Fullerton. 

Capistrano Unified School District and Saddleback Valley Unified School District are within the top ten school districts in Orange County.
