Filling Out Community Surveys

From time to time, there may be important issues for which the City Council or staff may want to reach out to residents and businesses to gather comments. Surveys may be posted to facilitate that effort. To gather as many responses as possible, an announcement will be made on the City’s homepage and in the City’s e-Newsletter when surveys are used.

State of the City Address

Each year, the Mayor delivers an update to the community - a report card of sorts - known as the State of the City Address. This annual address offers citizens the opportunity to listen and understand how their investment in our community is working for them and where the community, collectively, is headed in the coming year. The city looks forward to sharing what we have accomplished, what our community partners are accomplishing within our City, and how we are working together to realize progress throughout the community. During the address, residents and visitors will hear updates on the city’s budget and reserves, public safety, public works projects, and upcoming community improvement projects. The State of the City Address is accessible via the City Council Audio Stream
