  1. DAWG Adoption Extravaganza

    October 6, 2018, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Oso Viejo Community Park

    Our partners at the City of Mission Viejo Animal Services Center and Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) are hosting the fun-filled DAWG Adoption Extravaganza, (formerly the DAWG Walk) on October 6, 2018 on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park. This family event that includes a Howl-A-Ween pet costume contest and pet and wildlife exhibits. The event also includes a pristine walk along the Oso Creek Trail and a Pet Faire, featuring local businesses, animal rescues, pet product booths, entertainment, music, raffle prizes, refreshments and much more. Dogs needing loving, new homes will be available for adoption. The faire is free and runs until noon. The DAWG Walk is $30 to participate. Proceeds benefit the orphaned animals at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center at 28095 Hillcrest.

  2. ZeroTrash RSM

    October 6, 2018, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Cinepolis/Panera Courtyard

    ZeroTrash Rancho Santa Margarita is a volunteer group that meets on the "Zero T First Saturday" of each month to rally together to rid the community of litter. All are welcome: parents, children, students, friends, neighbors - anyone interested in keeping RSM clean! Volunteers meet in front of Cinepolis/ Panera at 10:00 a.m. and fan out from there. ZeroTrash provides the pickers and bags; volunteers are asked to closely supervise young children at all times, stay on trails and to keep a look out for snakes! Return pickers and trash at noon behind the Bell Tower Community Center and obtain sign-offs for certification of community service hours or badge requirements.
