I received a parking citation on street sweeping day. What do I do?

Refer to the information on the back of the citation regarding how to pay the fine.  The back of the ticket reads as follows:

HOW TO PAY THE PARKING VIOLATION PENALTY:

Credit card payments are accepted by phone at (800) 989-2058 or online at www.CitationProcessingCenter.com; or send check/money order payable to the City of Rancho Santa Margarita in a stamped envelope addressed to the City of Rancho Santa Margarita, C/O Citation Processing Center, PO Box 10479, Newport Beach, CA 92658. Write the citation number on the check/money order. DO NOT SEND CASH. Please note that additional monetary penalties are charged for late payment as well as repeat violations of the same offense within a twelve month time period. Citations issued for one of the following violations 4000(a)(1), 5200(a), 5201(c), 5204(a) require evidence of violation correction and vehicle inspection which may be obtained at any police agency. Upon valid proof of correction for each equipment violation, the penalty shall be reduced to $10.00 per violation.
